Description
This divine frozen peanut butter cream pie recipe is quick and easy to mix: just a few minutes in the blender, then pour it into a prepared graham crust shell (regular or chocolate) and freeze. We've been known to dig in and indulge before it's completely frozen too!
Ingredients
| 1 | 12 - 16 oz. pkg. silken tofu | |
| 3⁄4 | cup peanut butter | |
| 1⁄2 | c | sugar |
| 1 | t | vanilla |
| 1⁄8 | t | salt |
| 1⁄3 | c | water |
| 1⁄4 | c | chocolate chips (optional) |
| 1 | 9-inch prepared graham or chocolate graham crust | |
| whipped cream (optional) |
Instructions
- Place all ingredients except chocolate chips (and prepared pie crust and whipped cream) into blender jar. Blend until creamy (about 2 minutes), scraping down sides of blender with spatula several times.
- Sprinkle half of chips on bottom of pie crust, then pour filling in. Sprinkle remaining chips on top. Cover and place into freezer for at least 2 hours, until firm. Once pie is completely frozen, allow to thaw for about 15 minutes before slicing. Serve with whipped cream, if you like.
