Description

Five minutes is all you need for this easy meatball recipe. Since they bake in the oven, this recipe frees you from babysitting them on the stove. Add a dipping sauce and an easy appetizer is ready. Or add your favorite sauce and pasta/rice and dinner is all set.

Ingredients

1lbground beef
1⁄4cbread crumbs (I like to use Italian but plain work fine too)
1Tmilk (optional, depending upon how moist the meat is)
1⁄2toregano (dried)
1⁄2tspbasil
1⁄4tAdobo (or salt)

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375ºF.

  1. Mix all ingredients in medium-size bowl well (a fork or hands works great).
  2. Shape into 1-inch diameter balls and place on baking sheet (stoneware is ideal).
  3. Bake 20 minutes or until done. If possible, turn the meatballs halfway through baking time for more even browning.
