Description
Five minutes is all you need for this easy meatball recipe. Since they bake in the oven, this recipe frees you from babysitting them on the stove. Add a dipping sauce and an easy appetizer is ready. Or add your favorite sauce and pasta/rice and dinner is all set.
Ingredients
| 1 | lb | ground beef |
| 1⁄4 | c | bread crumbs (I like to use Italian but plain work fine too) |
| 1 | T | milk (optional, depending upon how moist the meat is) |
| 1⁄2 | t | oregano (dried) |
| 1⁄2 | tsp | basil |
| 1⁄4 | t | Adobo (or salt) |
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375ºF.
- Mix all ingredients in medium-size bowl well (a fork or hands works great).
- Shape into 1-inch diameter balls and place on baking sheet (stoneware is ideal).
- Bake 20 minutes or until done. If possible, turn the meatballs halfway through baking time for more even browning.
