Best Moist Chocolate Cake Recipe

Description
This family favorite is the best moist chocolate cake ever. The key is in its secret ingredient: brewed coffee. My favorite way to serve it is topped with this Peanut Butter Frosting. Wonderfully rich, moist and satisfying!
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 3⁄4 cups cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 1⁄2 cup oil
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup brewed coffee (hot or cold)

milk, ice cream, hot tea, coffee
Directions
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Spray cake pan(s)* with vegetable oil spray and coat with flour.
- Sift or whisk together the first 6 dry ingredients in a large bowl.
- With electric mixer, blend together the eggs, oil, milk, vanilla and brewed coffee. Pour wet ingredients into dry and stir until mixed well (batter will be runny).
- Pour into cake pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes, until done. Cool and frost as desired.
