How It Works
Hello and welcome to Queen of the Quick Meal—thanks for stopping by! Unlike many of the large recipe websites on the Internet (many with thousands upon thousands of recipes), QQM is a site that has been personally designed by me (Christine Gable), along with each one of the kitchen-tested recipes. My work as a recipe developer over the years has found me exploring and creating all kinds of dishes with ingredients from acai juice and stevia to grilled shrimp and salmon. But the dishes that are most meaningful for me to create are the ones that use common, everyday basics. The very ones that are most-likely staring back at you from your refrig and cupboards each day when you’re home.
Whether beef, tomatoes, tofu, carrots or pasta, these are the staples that we all want to know
what to do with at the end of a long day. Oh sure, you may want to try some of those super-foods occasionally—and possibly even find several that you’ll use regularly—but isn’t it the tried-and-true basics that we rely upon, day-in and day-out?
Those everyday basics are the f
oods and recipes that QQM is all about. While you’ll find sites that will cover the latest and greatest, the low-calorie, and special dietary needs, QQM sticks to common basics (and there sure are plenty of ‘em!). For if you truly want to be able to make dinner from what is in your kitchen now, the last thing you need is to find a delicious recipe only to discover you’re out of several key ingredients. Who needs another item added to the grocery list—or another trip to the store?
QQM won’t do that to you. I know what it’s like to be a busy, working mom—one who doesn’t need one more thing on the to-do list.
Just plug-in what you’ve got into the ingredient recipe search:
• chicken & carrots
• tofu & onions
• potatoes & beef
QQM’s fast, search-able database will turn up the recipe results that you can make in 20
minutes or less.
New recipes are constantly be tested and added: this site is a work-in-progress, one that is growing and evolving daily from your searches and feedback. And you'll soon be able to add your recipes with our soon-to-be-released Submit Your Recipe feature. Stay tuned!
