This family favorite is the best moist chocolate cake ever. The key is in its secret ingredient: brewed coffee. My favorite way to serve it is topped with this Peanut Butter Frosting. Wonderfully rich, moist and satisfying!

I don't usually use cake mixes--but in this case, if it's in the cupboard it equals cookies. And it's way quicker than baking a cake. Mmmm, chocolate and peanut butter. No need to say more.

Montmorency Cherry Coffeecake

Thanks to The White Gull Inn for this fantastic coffeecake recipe. It's perfect! The only caveat is the baking time--not a quickie! Be sure that you have at least an hour and a half before starting this.

Peanut Butter Blossom Cookies

This recipe is a family favorite since it's not only fun for several people to make together, it offers jobs for all ages (rolling balls of dough, dipping in sugar, unwrapping kisses, etc.). It's quick and delicious -- whether straight from the oven (yummy warm, melty chocolate!) or frozen for later.

Peanut Butter Frosting Recipe

Creamy and not-too-sweet, this peanut butter frosting recipe is quick and easy. It's especially delicious when served on this Best Moist Chocolate Cake.

Pumpkin Cake (or Muffins)  Easy, delicious and nutritious. Those are the words that epitomize the perfect dessert in my book—and here’s one of our favorites. Thanks to The Classic Zucchini Cookbook for the original recipe inspiration. This recipe makes 10 large or 18 small muffins that bake in 20 minutes or one 9x13 cake in a bit more time.

Thanks to Country Ovens for this sweet breakfast delight that uses dried cherries (it's delicious with chocolate-covered cherries too). Reduce the eggs to one for 'less eggy' flavor. Serve sprinkled with powdered sugar.
