Meatballs: Quick Easy Party Food or Appetizers
Meatballs used to be one dish I shied away from. The mixing, shaping, browning in the pan ... it was too much bother at the last minute. But then I discovered that meatballs are the perfect food to bake. In just 5 minutes I could mix up a batch, scoop and shape them -- and then bake 'em. That gave me time to pull together the other meal items with no stove-top babysitting (all that turning, browning, sizzling grease is something I can do without). If you have stoneware baking pans, by all means use them for this recipe -- these meatballs (recipe below) bake up golden brown and perfect on stoneware.
Meatballs are so adaptable too -- no matter what sort of flavor you're looking for, meatballs are perfect.
