About Us

Hello and welcome to Quick Meal Help — thanks for stopping by! Unlike many of the large recipe websites on the Internet (many with thousands upon thousands of recipes), Quick Meal Help is a site that's smaller with a uniquely personal touch. My work as a recipe developer over the years has found me exploring and creating all kinds of dishes with ingredients from acai juice and stevia to grilled shrimp and salmon. But the dishes that are most meaningful for me (Christine Gable) to create are the ones that use everyday basics. The very ones in your fridge and cupboards right now.

Beef, tomatoes, beans, carrots or pasta ... aren't these the staples that we want to know what to do with at the end of a long day? Oh sure, you may want to try some of those super-foods occasionally—and possibly even find several that you’ll use regularly—but isn’t it the tried-and-true basics that we rely upon, day-in and day-out.

Those everyday basics are the foods and recipes that Quick Meal Help is all about. While you’ll find sites that will cover the latest and greatest, the low-calorie, and special dietary needs, we aim to share recipes that stick to common basics (and there sure are plenty of ‘em!). For if you truly want to be able to make dinner from what is in your kitchen now, the last thing you need is to find a delicious recipe only to discover you’re out of several key ingredients.  Who needs another item added to the grocery list—or another trip to the store?

QQM won’t do that to you. I know what it’s like to be a busy, working mom—one who doesn’t need one more thing on the to-do list.

Just plug-in what you’ve got into the ingredient recipe search:

  •    chicken &  carrots
    •    tofu  & onions
    •    potatoes & beef

QQM’s fast, search-able database will turn up the recipe results that you can make in 20 minutes or less.

If there's not a recipe with your particular combo, I also welcome the opportunity to suggest a few ideas to you (via email) in the meantime.  As new recipes continue to be added and updated on the site, QQM will be able to provide even more combinations and quick meal ideas.

If you end up creating a meal with the foods you searched for, please share it with others by entering it in the Submit a Recipe feature. There's room to include a personalized headnote, a link, and source credit.

Please feel free to contact me at or tweet me @quickmealhelp or stop by the Quick Meal Help Facebook pageI look forward to hearing from you soon!
